Summer is officially here... Happy Summer Soltice to everyone.

It has been so hot here lately, and I know it´s going to get worse. It is to the point where one day I took 3 showers just so I could cool off. I can guarantee you that I am not turning on my broiler for any need of hot water - it´s just not the same when you don´t have an air-conditioned house to walk into. At times, I have to even add cold water because the sun boils the water for me. The other day, I actually started sweating in my kitchen from washing 2 dishes - that´s right, just two. Pretty gross. So, do me the favor, you can visit, but don´t think you´d be coming out of the heat just to come to the mountains where I am (as my dad´s pastor thought). :)

There have been so many graduations this week. I only went to the one of the school where I taught. It was perfect- 21 graduates (1 didn´t come) and it only lasted an hour. They had a dance afterwards (it started at 9) and I decided not to go. It´s just that I don´t like dancing, I don´t have a person to bring with me, and I like to go to bed around that time, not start eating dinner and partying all night. hehe
