Growth - It's a beautiful thing.

Thanks to the wonderful grace of God, we are able to grow. It's great to see it in others, and it's great to see it in me.

Here's where I have been growing:

I have been working on being a better example to children.
I think before I tell them stories, and before I make comments about others. (I still make mistakes)
I purposely am not at the house when I know there is a higher chance of a CdE kid visiting me.
I have a sign on my door telling the CdE kids they're not welcome at my house.
Thanks to advice from Bob, I have been learning on how to better punish kids to get the right results (them suffering, not me). :)
I have been acknowledging people when I see them changing and comforting them with words from the Bible and God's heart - not mine.

Here's what I have seen in others:
Boys walking away to deal with their anger instead of getting it out by fighting - and finishing the fight.
Boys making a conscious decision to not defend others and not cause problems.
Boys getting over their anger in a matter of minutes instead of hours - and being obedient!
Boys not being so lazy and actually becoming hard workers.

Now, of course, I still have lots to learn, as do all of them, but that is what life is all about - Learning - to live in the grace and mercy of God and following His wisdom, guidance, and directions with joy, love, and patience with others - and ourselves.
