Lately, I have decided to make some changes in my life... I have found that unless I make things mandatory, I will not make the change.
BTW: for those of you that read my blog on MySpace... Part of this will be repetitive for you....
Some things that I have decided:
- I will eat healthy most of the time and exercise at least 3 days a week. (Really the only time I allow myself to not eat healthy is during lunch on workdays...Which will eventually change as well... but only for the most part. :)
- I will pray for my friends, family, and others more often.
- I will make steps to be a more emotionally healthy person.
- In January, I will make more of an effort to go to youth on Wednesday nights... That's a day that I go to the gym, and I can work through lunch if it's necessary to be able to leave on time.
Some things I would like to expand upon.... There are times where it becomes hard to stay true to the decisions we make in our lives. Yet, I think it's when we're weak and we decide to be strong and follow through with it, that we gain more strength in the matter than if it was easy all along. In some ways, I am a weak person and in other ways I am strong... I want to be strong in all areas, not just to be strong, but to better myself and be the person that I was created to be. If I half-butt everything, then I'm never going to get there. I need to press on. I can't let a sin, an annoying situation, drama, or any sort of failure win... I have to conquer it. I have to let love and strength, forgiveness and compassion win... For these are the things we're called to do, be and recognize.

Well.. the thing that sucks about myspace is that you have to have a login yourself in order to read other peoples.
