Have you ever wondered? Have you ever wondered what would happen if people found your blog that you woulldn't want to? Have you ever wondered if you wrote something that might offend someone? Have you ever wondered if someone found something you had wrote about them...what would they think/do? Have you ever wondered how much of what we type on here is through the Spirit of God? Have you ever wondered what it would feel like for someone to write about you outside of our circle of "bloggers"? Have you ever wondered what it would be like if someone from high school found your blog? Have you ever wondered if someone from your work found your blog?

I used to not really wonder about all of this, but now I do... because it happened. I was talking to my boss at my desk when I read the first line of an e-mail that said "someone did a search for my name on Google and they found your blog".... There was so much worry and wonder that went through my mind. Even though I may know the opinion/ perception of the person that the post was about... I have no idea about the person that actually found it on the search... or if they told other people... This is where the wonder lies... but I don't think I really have that much to hide, if anything... I try to be an open book when it's appropriate... but I just don't always want to be an open book to everyone at the workplace...Oh, how I wonder...

So many times in my life I only listened to Christian music... Yet, there are so many awesome secular artists... and some/ many of them actually give awesome messages. So not all bands have to be like Skillet or POD and actually make it in both the Christian and secular music markets in order to make an impact in both places. There are many country music stars that are being lights admist this world.

I have to give props to Joe Nichols, because this song is awesome and always makes an impact to me.

Song: If Nobody Believed in You
Album: Revelation

I watched him take the two strike call:
He hadn't tried to swing at all.
I guess he'd had all that he could take,
He walked away, for goodness sake.
His father's voice was loud an' mean:"
You won't amount to anything."

That little boy quit tryin',
He just walked away.
There were teardrops on his face.
Tell me, how would you feel?
You'd probably give up too,
If nobody believed in you.

That old man said: "One more try,
"I know I'm not too old to try."
I promise, son, I'll do my best,"
This time, I'm gonna pass the test."
"Give me the keys, Dad, an' get in."
His father never drove again.

That old man quit tryin',
He just turned away.
An' there were teardrops on his face.
Tell me, how would you feel?
You'd probably give up too,
If nobody believed in you.

We take His name out of schools.
The lawyers say it breaks the rules.
Pledge of allegiance can't be writ,
An' under God, should not be said.
I wonder how He will take.
I just pray it's not too late.

What if God quit tryin',
He just turned away?
There were teardrops on his face?
Tell me, how would you feel?
You'd probably give up too,
If nobody believed in you.

Tell me, how would you feel?
You'd probably give up too,
If nobody believed in you.

I'm in shock and amazement....

Yesterday, I asked my boss for India off and also if I could leave next Friday for the women's retreat.... than I joked and said... I haven't asked enough from you lately, huh... especially since I just asked for a promotion/ raise a couple of weeks ago...

Well, I just found out today that starting November 15th, I will be considered a Customer Service Rep II and will receive a pretty nice raise. I am amazed and beyond blessed right now. A few chapters ago, in the book The Power of a Praying Woman, she had said that it was good to be treated and paid for fairly. She said it was good to pray for favor with you boss and for raises. So, I did. Thank You Lord for answering my prayers and blessing me so much.
